the ice hotel and the snow village.

Im just wondering what the differnce between the ice hotel and the snow village. Wa are staying in the yllas log cabins and eating at the akas hotel, we know about the inghams excursion to the ice hotel. But just wondering what the snow village is like compared to the ice hotel?

Not sure im up for travelling all the way to the ice hotel! not great in a coach!

Lapp village is in Akaslompolo and is an easy walk. Has good stuff for kids going on but is basically a restaurant with some other bits attached see

Snow village is 40 mins drive in remote wooded area - very lovely see http://www.snowvillage.fi/ this with all you can eat for 7 euros at the wilderness restaurant which is part of the site.

Ice hotel is in Sweden and can also be done as a day trip from Yllas area or a drive in a hire car. havent got URL but there must be one.

Stick with the snow village if the coach is only other option.
