Akas or snow elf hotel in Yllas

Somebody who stayed at this hotel in December has said the staff are surly and there are restrictions on when you can drink in the bar.

Has anyone got any views on this please. Am staying there at end of this month.

We have just returned from Levi and went to Yllas (log cabins) last year and stayed in the Levi Log Cabins....if you want any info email me on jocelynwalker@btinternet.com....cant wait to go again next year !!!!

I stayed there over christmas.. in one of their lovely apartments.

The staff were friendly, polite and helpful.

There is %26#39;dancing%26#39; - good old fashioned ballroom stuff, the locals love it!- in the main room where dinner is served. The main bar is in there. I didn%26#39;t stay in there late as I was with my young son but a lot of others did and had no problems. We were all concerned after the earlier post! but our fears were unfounded.

The hotel foyer bar is also open in the evenings, log fire, sofas, tables and chairs. Its used as a general meeting and gathering space. Spent a couple of evenings in there with friends chatting and having a couple of drinks... the last night a few families spent the evening there with our kids. Had a lovely night with no problems at all from the staff.

I broke my ankle out there, the staff were attentive and helpful.. occasionally helping where the reps had failed!

I checked with Crystal about restrictions for us in the hotel before I went and was assured that we are entitled to full use of the hotel.

Maybe you could double check with your holiday company.

We were there beginning of December. We had no trouble with staff and found them to be fine. As for the bar we went over one of the evening to sit and watch the dancing with no problems, we got our drinks from the bar round reception. We stayed in the apartments which were lovely.

We stayed at the Akas in December after that review was posted and had a great time, the staff were never rude or unhelpful and on the whole were very friendly. We used the bar and restuarant and sat where we liked and were never asked to move. So don%26#39;t worry just go and have a great holiday.

A message for doobidoo, glad you had a good time as you also read that review just shows how opinions differ on the same place. How did you break your ankle? and i hope it didn%26#39;t spoil your holiday.
