How long are you there for? We are there on the 30th dec to the 6th and have 5 and 7 year old sons.

Tabogganing or snowballs could be fun for them? We are near the Lapp village in a cabin.

I know what you mean about every eventuality but we still keep thinking of new dilemmas. Do we need normal footwear as well as snow boots for restaurants etc or will this be a waste of luggage space?

Hi there

we (myself O/H 5 yr old girl and 10yr old boy) are flying to kittila from manchester on 26th with first choice for a week, but we are staying at snowy wilderness lodge Pallas.

Yes it will be a waste of space! wear a pair of boots to fly in,thats it and when out there you will wear your snow boots All the time, maybe not the gala evening Have a great time Yllas is Fantastic!

You will love the Snow Princess. Read the recent reviews to reflect this. I am sure you all will have a magical time. If your finances allow then do the Husky Dog safari. Your Son will love seeing the huskies and puppies! I wanted to bring one home!

Also if you booked with first choice then i would imagine you will have a planned scedule of events?

First choice were fantastic and the reps very helpful and hard working. The hotel staff were also very nice, helpful and friendly.

Best trip we have had.

Take spare gloves.

ty for all your replys,

we are out there for a week until 2nd jan 08, so will be going to gala evening on new years eve. we were thinking of packing just one set of smartish clothes for this. is this a reasonable thing to do?

hope to see lots of you on flight and in resort
