Gutted!!

Never before had I been sooo excited to finally being able to take my 8 year old daughter to see Santa. All Newcastle flights were booked so Manchester seemed ok too.

I could not wait to see my little ladies reaction so an hour before setting off to Manchester, I woke her up and told her that Santa sent a letter inviting us to meet him in Lapland......I will never forget the look on her face.

The flight was boring, nothing like has been mentioned here by others, one stewardess looked totally fed up and annoyed she was on that flight, the kids started to get restless and bored.

Perhaps that was a sign for things to come. Never have I felt so let down by something that is supposed to be a trip of a life time.

If my daughter had any doubt if Santa exsists or not...this trip confirmed her doubts whether or not he is real.......3 seconds we met him, smiled at some idiotic duck, ushered out and oh...if you want the picture, please pay 30 euros and we post it to you.

What a rip off...Don%26#39;t go there.....they tell you you go to Santa%26#39;s Secret Grotto but really its Santa Park, one big commercial p*ss take.

So sorry you had this experience...We went for 4 days last year to Yllas and although the holiday was great the meeting with Santa was awful!!! Good job our kids didn%26#39;t believe!!

Complain and complain again!

Anyway the real guy turns up tonight!

So sorry your trip was rubbish, a lot of people coming back from day trips seem very disappointed, just got back from a week in levi and loved it, really think going for a day is trying to cram to much in. but the tour operators will still keep taking peoples money for it though

Sorry this did not live up to your expectations. We pay so much for these trips. I can only urge you to write to your company you booked with.

I have done both a day trip to Rovanaimi with Canterbury travel in 2002 and more recently a 3 night break in Yllas with First Choice. The 3 day break was fantastic from start to finish. It is a shame that some of the cabin crew don%26#39;t always enter into the spirit of things BUT we were lucky on our trip.

I urge you to go again but with a different company.

We had a fab week long holiday overall last year but i have made no secret of the fact I hated the one day we spent at Santa Park-make sure you review it I think i might be one of the only ones who has but people need to be warned just how bad it is.

Yes like farimeade says its overated and a complete waste of a day.The only thing that I enjoyed was seeing the santa there as I thought he was really good.

Saying that there are santas ive seen since that have been far more special and are not set somewhere as commercial as rova.
