Anyone else flying from Gatwick to Kuusamo next weekend, then on to iso syote? Annoying that the flight time has been changed to afternoon - all the more time to hang about before we get there.
PS I don%26#39;t think Iso is technically in Lapland, is it?

Small world we are going on that flight (and thank goodness the time has changed otherwise it would have been a very early start from the Fine City!!!)
I think Iso is just outside the Lappi region but must seem like Lapland.
Very excited ! Are you staying in the hotel or the log cabins?
Have you seen the link http://www.syote.fi/?deptid=28546 which gives three web cameras at Iso all of which show snow, snow, snow.

Back to the skiing. We%26#39;re staying in the hotel. The others thought the cabins would be more relaxing - but obviously not for me! I won.
I haven%26#39;t seen those webcams, just the hotel one (which I caught in daylight early this morning). Snow looks good. Five of us travelling - 2 oldies and 24, 21 and 20! Can%26#39;t wait.
We had booked B%26amp;B near the airport, so are just sticking with that for a leisurely start to the day.
See you on the plane. I assume someone will be wearing the yellow and green!
