lappish night

Went to Levi last year and did the husky and snowmobile trips doing the reindeer on our next trip and wondered if the lappish night was any good?

I dragged my husband to it on our first visit in 2003. If i%26#39;m honest it was ok, but very very traditional. Peka and his brother tell Lappish tales and sing songs whilst you eat.

Its very traditional but not everyones cup of tea. depends on what you want from it!

what month do you go back?

We are going back in January just after new year a bit cheaper then.... Have you planned another trip?

We did a taster of local life when we went to Bulgaria, was nice to try different food, but we didn%26#39;t have any singing or story telling... so this sounds different.... Thanks

Yeh, we go back March 2nd. going later this year so its not so cold for our daughter. she will be just 14 months old in March so -20 in Jan is too cold really! have you been looking at the web cams?

Yeah been on levi.fi checking out the snow... I soooo can%26#39;t wait, I just hope it%26#39;s not too cold. We were lucky last year when we were there for new years eve only 1 day was -20 and it was soooo cold, the rest of the time was -8

New years eve was great - very busy around by the slopes with lots of fire works going off here there and everywhere a bit dangerous for small kids - as one firework crossed our path as we were walking passed the church!!! slopes were busy at certain times. Hence we are going a week later this year
