hi all, i was wondering if it was essential to wear my snow boots on the plane? ive got snow boots that have retractable metal stud grips on the bottom and don%26#39;t know if i%26#39;ll be able to wear them. with airports having such tight security (and not that i%26#39;m complaining) you can never be sure. i was thinking of packing them on the top inside my suitcase so i can easilly access them at the other end.
also, is anyone else here travelling with neilson (through thomas cook)? ive just had my travel agent on the phone saying that the tickets have all been delayed in being sent out to them by a week and that there is a possibility that if they don%26#39;t have them by the 29th i will have to collect them from the airport (heathrow) on the day we fly (05/01/08). i%26#39;m not altogether feeling reassured by the phone call and very worried about having to collect them at the airport. i hate them at the best of times and i really don%26#39;t want to get off to a bad start to a holiday i have been really looking forward to. any advice would be really appreciated. thanks.
