Anyone back from Saariselka with Inghams?

Interested to hear from anyone back from saariselka through inghams and done the transfer from kittila airport and what it was like.

As I know its a long one.

How long is it?

I think its something like 2-3 hours but not sure.That is what it says in the Inghams brochure.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG.....i nearly booked this one before choosing Levi...the flight transfer put me off.

Yes I know what you mean.The transfer has put us of going there as well but would like to know what it was like and what others thought.Its a real shame as Inghams did advertise flights to Ivalo but then cancelled them and changed them to kitilla instead.

Our friends went there last year ...oh wait...the year before! (06)..for christmas..%26amp; yes they flew to Ivalo.

They said it was fantastic.

I just didn%26#39;t fancy the transfer now, especially with 5 kids %26amp; poorly hubby in tow....although now he%26#39;s not going anyway...still put me off though.

Will be interesting to hear if it put others off as well.

We are going to Canada in Feb 2009 and it%26#39;s a 5 hour transfer :O

Yes I know what you mean about getting the years mixed up I do that all the time at a start of a new year.We to have friends that have been there in 2006 but been on shorter trips with a different company and flew to Ivalo and said how lovely it was.

I keep trying to get them to go for longer with a ski company but as of yet they have not and have just returned from the Jeris cabins in munio and said that it was great there also.

That will not be so bad for you snowdaisy as your children are older mine(i think)it would drive me nuts going on such along transfer.They are bad enough in the car on a long journey!

Oh I know what you mean.My mum used to say that to everyone we met when I was a teenager!She was always calling me her baby!
