Hi Debi,

Got back yesterday from Iso-Syote (so excited got arrival %26amp; departure dates mixed up) %26amp; I have to say that the hotel in almost every aspect is EXCELLENT!!!

We were on an organised %26quot;Santa%26quot; trip, but had a lot of input from the hotel staff, who are all really friendly and helpful.

The hotel is small and quite quiet, so I hope you%26#39;re not going expecting wild evening entertainment. The setting is incredibly beautiful - it%26#39;s on the top of the fell, and we had to keep pinching ourselves at how stunning the views are. All the trees are dusted with snow %26amp; in sunny weather the scene is just so picturesque. Food was good - although we were with a tour party so is probably different depending on how you%26#39;re going, but I saw someone with pizza, which looked good. Drink prices were 5 Euros for 0.5Litre beer, 7.60 for a large glass of wine - expensive but I didn%26#39;t think it was too bad for Scandinavia. The hotel run snowmobile safaris and husky safaris, which I think were about 60-90 Euros for a proper 2-3 hour trip, and for me seemed excellent value %26amp; the only way of properly seeing the beautiful scenery. As I said before the hotel guides are a great bunch.

In terms of clothing I probably can%26#39;t advise you much because it was quite warm while we were there, but the hotel provides thermal outer suits plus all the necessary accessories for all their activities, which were great %26amp; we probably ended up taking too much.

You will have a fantastic time - the place is amazing!

Marc
