Glad you got home safely.
The hoppy skiier here.. finally home after battling all and sundry to make it.
Just want to send HUGE KIIITOS%26#39;S to all the yllas gang who helped the hoppy skiier and my liitle cherub have the best holiday ever. He was sooo sad to leave, he cried! It%26#39;s too hot here.. i miss the snow.. keep opening the windows!
The snow-boot-liner is keeping the cornish rain off my toes, thanks hon for the donation! I%26#39;ve seen the docs here, hopefully don%26#39;t need surgery but will know for sure on wednesday when they%26#39;ve all sobered up!
So big hugs to you guys, Rhianna and gang, bluebell and the beautiful Fins, the mountain first aid, all the people who came to my aid in my momemts of distress, the taksi drivers! even the instructors! Kiitos and kiitoksa, we%26#39;re saving up to go back next year..maybe not christmas though, don%26#39;t think the savings could withstand that!
Oh and by the way HAPPY NEW YEAR!

how are you and how did you manage to break your ankle, poe told me you had but did%26#39;nt have time to tell me the details sounds like she was a real trooper though, hope you are ok and fingers crossed that it mends fine. Oh happy new year to you all

Hi Kelly
Went out for an hours skiing after 3rd amazing day in ski school whizzing about on the slopes...spun round at walking speed on the baby slope, (doing warm up turns!) whilst being overtaken by 2 year olds! unfortunately.. according to a witness.. moving too slow for the bindings on my ski to come off, it got stuck in the twist.. and what should have been a sprained ankle turned into a spiral fracture.oops!
Soo gutted that i missed the skiing for the rest of the week, but still went up every day so my son could ski.. he%26#39;s totally hooked now.. just loves everything to do with skiing and the whole snowy holiday thing.
(Took him swimming on the last day at the akas hotel pool and while I sat taking piccies of him... 4 reindeer walked passed the windows.. how cool is that!)
Sat in the toasty ski cafe and drank coffee ( or gluwein) and made loads of friends!
Honestly that place is just amazing.. if i thought I was hooked on Lapland before.. now its an obsession!
We%26#39;re fine now, I%26#39;ve mastered the art of crutches without ice spikes! just wading through the washing and ironing!!
Poe and her gorgeous family.. nothing scary about them at all, don%26#39;t believe the hype!.. just the warmest, kindest, funniest gang you could hope to meet. Can never thank them enough. Yes she was a trouper - I%26#39;m going to keep embarassing her!

so glad you are ok, i buggered myself just mucking about on a pile of snow,(shell%26#39;s fault) i still have wrist strapped up and i am finally going to hospital tomorrow, i knew it was really bad when i could%26#39;nt pick up a glass of wine at dinner today. Hope you are all better soon.
