Hi teachersh, I%26#39;m a teacher presume you too?! Watching webcams for signs of snow. have you seen the live cam of the ski slopes in Levi. Theres a lot of brown and green visible and some mud.
It must snow properly soon. Still it will be good for the northern lights if BBC and FMI are right because completely clear on NYE.
Going to have a great time whatever the weather.

We are going to Yllas on Sunday flying from Gatwick.........................snow snow snow snow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not sure what time we arrive at Kittila but our flight is around 15:00 from Gatwick.

We are also going on Sunday 14:15 from Manchester so we have a late arrival, Lets hope the BBC have a the correct forecast as they say heavy snow, but I doubt if that will be correct, all the local weather predictions are for it to be slightly colder but clear. But If you are all like me you are amazed at how fast the weather can change and how varied the forecasts can be. It looks like it will have to be the old fingers crossed routine, in fact you will recognize me on the journey as I will have my fingers crossed that when we are landing the pilot says %26quot; the local weather is deep snow and freezing temperatures%26quot;.

Deep and crisp and even. Pessimists should look at Finland metereological Institute, optimists can go with the bbc but the happily deluded can keep checking accuweather where it promises snow snow and more snow. The neurotic can check all three (me included) and average them out to whatever they want because the weather wil do what it wants anyway. Better for Aurora if its clear and cold... Isn%26#39;t it?

Right so we go with BBC for Sunday and then swap to FI for the rest of the week for the cold but clear temps...!

We%26#39;re off to Levi Sunday as well!! I%26#39;d read that there was loads of snow due this week but havent seen any yet! Every time I look at the forecasts (about 3 times a day) it changes!
