hi just wondered if any one knew what activitys would be best or saffaris for my 2yr boy to do with us he%26#39;s very active more like a 3yr old many thanks

I would have thought it really depends on the type of child you have which would determin the length of the activities but I certainly would have thought that the husky and reindeer are a must, also there is the santa animal place in yllas they they may enjoy (there may be simular in levi too), I think that the snow will be the main attraction so things like sledging would be good, wrap them up well and they should have great fun

They also do this year a reindeer and husky ride in front of the front ski slopes on certain days and times in the evenings and although a very small ride its still a nice little extra if you have small ones.

best safari for the little ones, would be the reindeers, its great fun for all ages %26amp; safe, activities- kids land or sledging , great fun.

My little boy was 2 when we went and we did the 3km husky ride going by snowmobile, in all the trip was about 3 and a half long and he was fine, we also did the search for santa which again was about 3 and a bit hours loing on snowmobile and he loved it.

I went at the beginning of December and my youngest was 2 and we did husky, reindeer and snow mobile safari%26#39;s and she was fine on all of these. The cold did not seem to bother her at all. I think as long as you have the layers correct under the snow suits they seem to stay as warm as toast.

We took our 2½ year old daughter on the short husky ride 2k is great and the short reindeer trip. Husky farm had lots of puppies which she adored.
Other than that she played in the snow, made snowmen and had lots of good old fashioned fun! we went a year ago and the weather was mild around -6 she was never cold and the Log Cabins in Ruka were amazing.
She was not keen on trying to ski, and they did had a play park (all be it frozen) going down the slide was interesting as it was so so icy she shot into the car park! and we took her around using a sled which we pulled.
We are off again on the 13th Jan our best holiday ever.

agree with all the other posts we took our 2 year old to levi this december and did the mini husky, mini reindeer and santa safari, she coped with them all and loved playing in the snow for a few hours at a time. the weather was not as extreme as we thought it was but still colder than she ha experianced before. secret is to make sure they are well wrapped up.
