Hi, we are going to the crazy reindeer, levi on dec 2nd flying from gatwick %26amp; staying in the white reindeer rooms. Anyone else doing the same trip?
|||
Same here, the four of us (2 kids in late thirties, other two 6 %26amp; 4) are going from Birmingham, who did you book with loulou67 ?
|||
Booked through lastminute.com, 2 very excited big kids just turned 40 %26amp; our little angels 5 %26amp; 8 who provide us with a good excuse to go in the first place!!!
Wanted to fly from b%26#39;ham as its quite a trek from northumberland to gatwick but there were no flights left, so we%26#39;re just wondering how much Inghams would charge to change flights...
What kind of rooms did you get curtlyb? We%26#39;ve only been allocated 1 twin which i think will be a bit of a squeeze, but it has got a sauna which is an unexpected bonus!
|||
Inghams charged us about 45 pound to change our flights.
|||
Was that £45 per person bluny, %26amp; did you have to pay regional supplements too?
|||
First we had booked to fly from birmingham at a cost of i think 19 pound per person .Then we changed our flight to gatwick as wanted a earlier flight back and they charged us £45 in total for all 4 of us to change.

Hi We are going to The white Reindeer on 22Dec for Xmas, sounds daft but just how many clothes do you need and how cold can it get, are the hotel rooms warm enough for little ones, starting to panic a bit now it will be too cold to enjoy.
We have got 2 twin rooms as a family of 5 they couldnt fit us all in together
A recent report would be so helpful

Hi BJGT family - we have just returned from the white reindeer today. We had a double room and a cot at the end of the bed. Our room wasn%26#39;t that big but was adequate for the time we spent in it. The temp of the room was just right and the bathroom was lovely and warm - heated towel rack and underfloor heating and we had a bath which was a bonus as we thought we only had a shower. We travelled with First Choice and had breakfast in the White reindeer and lunch and dinner in the crazy restaraunt - all buffet style with good dining hours. Breakfast 8 -10, lunch 11-4 and dinner 5-9. As we were travelling with our 2 yr old we always had dinner early so we didn%26#39;t do a change of clothes for the evening and it didn%26#39;t look like others did either. Most people eat their food with their suits on with the top part taken off and just wrapped around your waist - very informal/casual. We found that wearing base layers, thin mid layers and then our suits was sufficient to keep us warm, however, the temp in Levi has been mild in the last 4 days, ranging from -10 to 0, so layers will depend on you yourself (saw some people wearing short sleeved t-shirt under their suits!) As always we took more clothes than what we could wear, but suppose better to have too much than not enough.
You will have a lovely time, we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would love to go back.

Thankyou so much, it%26#39;s so exciting to be going, your advice really helps and its good to know First Choice have picked a good hotel for us.
Thankyou and Merry Xmas to you all.
