Taking your own ski wear - plus size

As I am on the large side I have bought my own ski wear for our day trip next week. For those of you who have been - did anyone else do this and was it ok?

I have spent so much time worrying about whether they would have a thermal suit to fit me that I decided to buy a ski suit but now I%26#39;m worried whether I will be the only one.

I went for 3 days last year and am in the plus sizes. The suits are available in all shapes and sizes, and the staff are excellent at looking at you and selecting the correct size. No embarrising questions about size. There were plently of use ladies on the larger size and no shortage of suits. Dont worry and save some money and get a refund on your purchase you will be fine. Have a great time there is no way you cant

We had snowsuits included (just got back)and many people wore them and I don%26#39;t mean to offend anyone but there were lots of larger people wearing them too, but lots of people took their own as well - you will not be out of place with whatever snow wear you wear - so don%26#39;t worry.

We got back three hours ago and I am on the large size, I took my own and I am glad I did. Yes they had all sizes but and its big but they had run out of my size and wanted me to wear two sizes to big! I could not walk in it and they had no boots left in my size and gave me a size 7 and I am normally a size 4.5! They did not have my son size boots or snow suit. I will be in touch with Inghams later today. But had a great holiday will be doing the review later.

Guess I will just have to stop worrying and enjoy myself!

hi,

myself and my family got back from lapland last week,

me and my 3 children wore the suits provided for us but my husband brought his own ski jacket and padded trousers with braces, he was the envy of alot of poeple including me, a 2 peace suit is much easier as

the all in one suits are great but a little awkward, shirley

omg tinann my worst fears come true are exacttly what you just had happen to you i am so so sorry what a pain in the butt

Dont worry - There are all shapes and sizes there - I got a suit for myself for exactly the same reasons as you!!! It really doesnt matter either way - Being comfortable is the most important thing!!! I promise you wont look out of place no matter what you decide!!
