Can anyone tell me what type of mains socket they have...?

Will I need an adaptor....?

And is there anywhere to download camera memory cards to disc in Akaslompolo....?

I was thinking the same thing... so from that response I take it they dont have plugs like us then? So - what about the voltage. Anyone any ideas??

Don%26#39;t worry about voltage, all of your appliances will run. I would take two or three adaptors for charging camera, kids toys etc.

They use the round 2 pin Euro plugs.
