So I%26#39;ll be landing in Helsinki at 9am and will be leaving Helsinki at 8pm. Any recommendations as to what I can see in Helsinki and where to shop? Not looking to spend a crazy amount of $ but would like to see some sights.
Also the easiest and budget friendly way to get to and from the airport as well as around the city. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Bus 615. It will cost you 3,60€ one way, or you can find a R-kiosk from airport and buy one day tourist ticket for 11€.
When at city, The marketplace and oldd markethall are places not to miss. When you take stroll from railway station, which is the end station for 615, to marketplace along %26quot;pohjoisesplanadi%26quot; (the north esplanade), there is lots of shopping opportunities.
You can also take roundtrip whit tramline 3, which is a circular route, and gives you nice sightseeing around the city.
The %26quot;Ateneum%26quot; art museum is just opposite to your bus stop, and the %26quot;rock churc%26quot; at %26quot;temppelinaukio%26quot; is only one block from the tram 3 route.
