Esprit Santa's Magic Trip

Hi All

Got back from Saariselka last Friday after 2night / 3day trip with Esprit.

Very well organised, the outfitting of the snow suits when you get there is very quick and painless. The activity day when you get to see Father Christmas was brilliant, the meeting with the big man himself was magical, reading the kids letters when we walked into his cabin was fantastic

I want to go back there, NOW!!!!! I miss it lots!

Where did you stay. I am going to the holiday club and the last couple of recent reviews do not recommend the food. I have a fussy husband and daughter. Help - looks like suitcase will be packed with snacks.

We stayed at the Tunturi which is a bit further down the hill, the food was ok, nothing fancy just sustaining and it was buffet style so there was a good selection of food, never felt hungry.

We had our Gala dinner at the Holiday Club on the Thursday night and it was fine, no problems. The kids could have chicken nuggets and chips if they wanted or there was a good selection of other foods.

You get quite hot in the thermal suits so plenty of fluids required, the berry juice is lovely

How long are you going for?

We are going 23-26 Dec

Just got back from Santa%26#39;s Magic trip with Esprit. It was soooooooo fantastic i want to go back now. It was well organized. The place was so beautiful and fresh and it was just amazing.

We stayed at the Holiday Club Hotel, it was clean and warm and i thougth it was good. We used the pool once and it was great and everywhere was clean.

The food was fine, buffet style with lots of choice.

I am just wanting to go back for longer now!!!! I need to save up NOW!!! The only fault i had was that the coach picked us up to early to go home and we had a long wait at the airport.

Do you stay in the actual hotel/

WHEN YOU WENT TO THE POOL DID YOU WEAR YOUR GOWNS AND IF YOU HAVE KIDS WHAT DID THEY WEAR? Thinking of taking flip-flops and gowns for kids.

Is the water warm or would my 5yr old not a great swimmer be better off in his wet suit?

Hi, yep we stayed in the hotel. The pool was good my 6 and 4 yr old were fine and didnt complain it was cold at all. We went down in gowns and socks!!!!! The kids went in trunks and towels but they were a bit chilly when they got out and gowns would have been more sensible!!!! You gey a locker etc so you can do whatever you need to. The showers are hot and powerfull!!

Get an alarm call or take an alarm as we overslept on our activity day and only had 20mins to get all of us up, dressed and on the coach it was a nightmare!!! (soon forgotten). Also i wished i had taken my kids a couple of biscuits or a snak to the activity day as your coach stays there so you can leave bags on it etc. The snowsuits do have pockets in.

We did the Santa magic last year- got the bug and are now doing what the %26quot;old%26quot; hands tell everyone to do - go for longer! Going on 30 Dec for a week - booked out own Santa trip (to say %26quot;thanks%26quot;) and activities will be done with Ingahms!

Can%26#39;t wait.
