What to expect???

Hi everyone.

Going for a 3 night stay to Winter Wonderland Hotel, Rovaniemi with wife and 2 kids on Dec 16th-19th. Any advice/recommendations would me more than welcome

Praying for snow but getting concerned about the lack of it at this moment in time. What to do if there isn%26#39;t any?

I was going on exactly the same holiday from 19-23 but was so concerned about the lack of snow that i changed my holiday completely, i am now going to levi which is further north for a week and it worked out cheaper, i did ask first choice what happens if there is no snow like last year and they said they would put wheels on the reindeer rides etc, but saying that apparently last year was very unusual and you could get tons of snow this year, it%26#39;s not just you i think everyone panics at the thought of no snow as thats a big part of why you go.

Dont worry Snow will come, it is alreadtyexpected to start on Wed night and thrusday through to the week end, and the temps are staying down.

have some Faith , and any thing can happen. It just might snow a lot in Rova and less in the North. who knows.

But you have a good month to go...

Levi has loads of snow i passed through there on the coach today. Just arrived home a few hours ago. Wish i could go again.

We%26#39;ve just come back from the day trip on Sunday - there was LOADS of snow and fresh falling as we were there. If it all melts between now and your hol I would be amazed - especially as the temps this week were +3/+4!!

Even the trees were covered in frozen snow / ice. It really was a winter wonderland - and they had to defrost the plane as we left...and it wasn%26#39;t that cold!!

Yea, as above, really don%26#39;t worry, we were there on Saturday. Not much snow in the city, but ten mins in the bus and you are in snow heaven. I was worried that there wouldn%26#39;t be any, but there is loads, not like the snow in England that melts in a few days.
