How many £££s to see Santa in Yllas please

Hi

Can anyone tell me an approx price to arrange a day trip to Santa in Yllas. Ive read that we may as well stay in Yllas then travel out to Rovaniemi (or however it is spelt!)

Cheers

Are you talking about going to SantaPark??

There is a lot of organised excursions to SantaPark usually done thru your tour operator. Approx prices are £35 an adult £20 for kids?

If you are staying in Yllas, then Santa has his own house down in Lapp Village. You pay 4euros per person and spend approx 10 mins private time with him.

SantaPark is very big and commercialised, and about a 90min drive from Yllas.

Hope that helps

Hi Bluebell, many thanks. I read a post earlier today that it cost £350 each person to go visit Santa for the day in Rovaniemi so that is a massive difference. I wonder if it is a typo???

In lap village - is there a possibility that you can take your own present %26amp; santa will give it to your child when their turn? I have told by a friend that they did this but they went on a 4 day 3 night excursion with all trips in.

Cheers M

Hi,

£350 is a lot!! The figure I quoted was an organised excursion from Yllas to Santapark, but it is a long day with the drive. Not sure where your figure came from, perhaps it%26#39;s something very individual.

Lapp Village has a website www.lappvillage.fi gives you some info including when Santa is at home.

There is a gift shop below his home where you can browse. The 4euros per person is purely for you to spend private time with him. It%26#39;s really lovely.

Whilst we were there last year, another family had arranged to spend about 30 mins with him including gifts, and they will give you a price for that. If you email them they are very good at getting back to you. But if you want to buy a gift and get him to give it to the kids then yes you can!

I think the £350 figure on the other thread was the total price for the day trip per person, including flights from the UK.
