im going to ruka for the week from the 22/12/07 for xmas staying at the east ruka appartments i would be gratefull for any feed back and ideas for trips as we previously have been to levi and yallas.

Hi, me and my family are also going to ruka but on the 30/12/07. As i can see on the ruka website there is lots do do including

* Husky Dog Sledging- which ive heard is a must!

* Reindeer Farm Visits %26amp; Safaris

and about a million more:p

Hi many thanks for that, you have a good trip aswell, the only thing im not sure of is the log cabins as our tour operator changed at last minute there were the ruka log cabins, but have been changed to east ruka log cabins has anyone evre stayed here.I last stayed in yllas log cabins and they were out of this world.thanks

For Safaries and all that stuff, go to www.rukaadvertures.fi

A tip if you want to take ay safaries book them a.s.a.p. as Christmas is one of the busiest weeks, I heard that they are oe of the best and affordable.

Hi, i am staying in the log cabins too, ive heard they are very good there no tas central as the apartments or suites i don%26#39;t think but i think the log cabins show ruka for what it really is.
