Last min deals in Feb.

Has anyone LAST YEAR booked a weeks holiday to Yylas in a cabin - Im looking at the 24th Feb, 2 Adults 2 Kids.

How much did you pay and how long before you went did you book it.

I saw them on the inghams website last year for feb half term at 299 each, we are just going to wait and see what there is nearer the time, they also had canada for the same price ;-)

i can go to yylas in the Villa armis cabins for £1200 on the 24th - didnt know if it would go down or not.

Are these cabins in the right place do you know or too far out.

the armas villas are next near to teh akas hotel, where you get the ski bus from, good spot, 15 min walk max to the supermarket etc

I personally would wait until nearer the time, if you are willing to pay full brochuer price then pay it nearer the time when you know for sure that you can%26#39;t get anything cheaper

PS - do you still need the dr who dvd?

The only thing to watch for is that the Finnish Ski season kicks in then, the flights will be ok, but cabins get booked up, Inghams will only keep a hold on the cabins they reserve until 30 days before departure.

I know that I have asked before but the 10th feb is not finnish school holidays is it?

Does it get really busy in Lapland when the finnish school holidays are?

Nope the 10th isn%26#39;t Finnish holidays, thats half term week isn%26#39;t it, so you%26#39;ll get lots of Brits there about the same as Christmas time.

It does get much busier compared to January, but one good thing about the 24th is that the Gondola in Yllasjarvi should be opening.

The busiest time is March/April that is when the best Ski conditions are.

Hard to say really, I would imagine there will be some offer at some point, but perhaps not has good as usual, because of the potential of the Gobdola opening, it%26#39;s a pretty big thing for Yllas.

Or will it go down - thats the 24000 $$$$ question.
