Travelling to Enontekio tomorrow. Snow boots and suits are provided at the airport but do we need wellies/boots to get from the aircraft to the terminal building??? Also if anyone has done the 1 daytrips how warm are the hired suits, is a thermal vest a poloneck and a fleece enough under the suits to keep you warm?
Any comments greatly appreciated.

Have been on a 4 day trip and no snow boots are not needed to get from the plane to the terminal, it is about 10 steps and they keep the runway etc very clear.
I would say you will be warm enough, the suits they provide are very snug and none of us got cold. At the moment the temperatures are above freezing anyway, I think it feels colder here than when I was in Lapland.
You will love it, it is a truly magical place and the people all so friendly.

Hi Julie1968-I am going to eneotekio tommorow too!!I was worried about footwear especially for kids so rang Transun (our operator) who told me normal shoes are fine even for kids as you are straight onto a coach which takes you to where you get kitted up.Also suits should be fine as forecast is only (only!!) minus 3-5 for tommorow.Bet you are sooooo excited-I know I am-can%26#39;t wait to see kids faces in morning when we tell them where they%26#39;re going!!! Have a great day %26amp; Merry Christmas!!
