Hello, can anyone suggest somewhere near Senate Square where to eat on 31st evening. We%26#39;d like really good food, preferably Finnish and a bit of atmosphere. Thought of G W Sundmans but is it stuffy? Might their less formal restaurant Sundmans Krog be a good idea? Thanks and happy christmas!

If you like it less formal don%26#39;t go for G W Sundmans. It%26#39;s nice but probably not what you%26#39;re looking for. Sundmans Krog is a better choice for you. Another possibility within a close distance would be Mecca which is a very nice restaurant with excellent food. Check out their website:

If Finnish food is what you want you could go for Aino which is also very centrally located at the Esplanade. Website:

Thank-you for your suggestions. I checked Mecca is already full all the days we are there! I will check the other and am waiting a reply from Sundmans. I am realising a lot of things will be closed between 30 dec and 2nd Jan!
