returned from Levi last night

Hi all, we returned from Levi last night and had a fab holiday. We stayed in the Levi Log Cabins which were lovely and we had H/B at the Sirkhantati Hotel. The food was good quality adults and kids enjoyed it, but the choice was a bit limited, although some of us adults did sneak over to the childrens buffet, they had great chips! The only gripe we had with the H/B set up was that 2 nights out of the 7 we had to eat at tables in the hotel foyer (the limited buffet was set up in a side room) this was because Cosmos guests were having functions in the dining room, I don%26#39;t know how regularly this happens. We did not think the hotel was to blame and to be fair the staff were very helpful. It is probably the holiday companies fault and as Cosmos have a lot of guests in the hotel the Inghams ones get pushed out.

We were not that impressed with the Inghams rep we had, we didn%26#39;t have cause to see much of her but she seemed to have a couldn%26#39;t care less attitude.

The welcome meeting was a drag with people having to queue for a very long time to book trips.

I can%26#39;t comment on the Gala dinner as we chose not to go, this was because it was on for about 5 hours and after the welcome meeting didn%26#39;t have much faith in it being anything special and we had already seen Santa. We did hear from other guest after that it was ok but nothing special.

We did the Aurora snowmobile/santa trip and the Inghams super husky safari and both were brilliant.

Kidsland was brilliant, although the %26#39;path to christmas%26#39; was expensive for what it was but considering we had had great fun for free in Kidsland all week we didn%26#39;t begrudge the money.

Although there is obviously plenty of snow we were slightly dissapointed it wasn%26#39;t on the trees and the temps were not really as low as we had prepared ourselves for, but hey we will just have to go again! The trees had a very heavy frost on them yesterday though as it was colder and they looked white and beautiful so all was not lost.

Finally, me and Shell clocked each other straight away at the airport and she%26#39;s lovely and the lucky devils out there for another week yet! Unfortunately mine and Kelly%26#39;s paths didn%26#39;t cross.

i did the opposite i did%26#39;nt go to the welcome meeting but went for the gala dinner you should have gone it was a laugh, the reps asked if anyone wanted to make an announcement so i got the inghams rep to wish shell a happy 40th birthday and tell her the botox was working as she did%26#39;nt look a day over 39, totally agree the weather and lack of snow/cold was disappointing and it was getting very icy and slippy, i fell over and hurt my wrist so was unable to go skiing.

Sounds like we missed out on a good night, I would have loved to have seen Shells face, ooh you are evil!!

Really sorry about your injury Kelly, I noticed 3 injuries in our check in queue at the airport last night but they didn%26#39;t look too serious.

I can%26#39;t ski, I did have a brief attempt this week but I%26#39;m always too worried about getting hurt, I only got halfway up the nursery slope in Kidsland!

I know not everyone will have been injured skiing but I%26#39;m a real wuss when it comes to taking chances!

Kelly where am I likely to bump into Shell...and how will I recognise her??? Gosh it would be a laugh if everyone on this site had met up with her!!!

you will find her in kidsland or the playroom she is very tall and has a red snowsuit on she will be the one telling everybody%26#39;s kids of lol

No i did it trying to climb up a big mound of snow to sledge down it and i fell arse over tit, serves my own right for being such a big bloody kid, but i did wear my very high heels for the gala dinner night.
