hi
just after a bit of advice on Levi. We went to Yllas last year and loved it so thought we%26#39;d go back to Lapland in 2008. As we have two kids (11 and 7) we want to try something different to last year and have either done or thought about all the obvious stuff. We have seen on a website that you can Go kart on ice in or near to Levi but cannot find any details on Levi.fi. Has any one out there got any info.
Also we are staying at the Levi Star apts (attached to the Sirkanthati Hotel). Are these good and whats the food like in the hotel??
I hate looking at these forums cos we get all excited!!!

Hi
I think there are no ice go-karting in Levi at the moment.
Levi Star is quite new apartment hotel, near to centre of village. In Levi there are many good restaurants so you do not need to eat in hotel%26#39;s restaurant every day.

I%26#39;m afraid the food in the Sirkintahti is OK but not great. Breakfast was good with a wide range and waffles that you cook yourself but the evening meals were rather hit and miss. You might want to grab some fruit from the Levi K-mart (2 minutes down the road from the hotel) to top up with. The desserts were awful - lots of cold pancakes served with jam and aniseed ice cream!
