Hi
Can anyone advise me on which handwarmers are the best to use please for adults and kids.
Also, can you get footwarmers, and are they worth using?
Thanks for your help!

I would say the disposable ones as they are soft and don%26#39;t go hard, they also stay hot for about 7-8 hours we got 80 of them off e-bay for about £30.

Trespass were selling them as well ..... 4 for £5.
Have to say, we did%26#39;nt use ours coz if you have got good gloves you really should%26#39;nt need them.

Hi
Thanks for all the info. Im worried about my kids more than us, but I have bought them trespass gloves on recommendation from someone I know that works at the Mountain Warehouse.
It might be worth me still get some handwarmers as back up in case they are cold.
Thanks again everyone, only 7 weeks to go!

Hi
Yes, I think handwarmers as back up is probably the best option. Just hope I dont live to regret it with 2 moaning kids.
Thanks for all you advice. Hope you dont mind the questions. Not easy being a Lapland virgin!

Hi
We are just back from Yllas and we needed both hand and foot warmers when it was -23. I found the foot warmers very good - some are loose, others you stick to the bottom of your sock. If you are out on any longer trips it is worth carrying them because the temperature can change quite quickly.
We bought ours from ski/outdoor shops - various makes.

Thanks Sarah.
It%26#39;s very hard to judge what to take. The weather seems to vary from above freezing to extreme temperatures like the ones you experienced. I dont want to waste money, but I dont want to freeze to death either.
I think a few handwarmers, and footwarmers are probably the best option. I cant imagine the tempeartures becoming sub tropical in Feb can you?

We wore 3 pairs of socks and thermal boots - still got freezing toes though! Toe warmers would be a great idea!
