Inghams Excursions - when do you do them?

We%26#39;ve booked the super Reindeer safari and super husky safari - when do we find out what day we%26#39;ll be doing them? is it before we go or when we get there

You will normally find out at the welcome meeting.

so after the welcome meeting it%26#39;s best to go to the tourist office to book anything else we want to do

Yes definately go to the tourist office and take a look at what they have to offer.There are some great trips to book via them.

Inghams super husky and super reindeer I think are great and take alot of beating.

We were given an envelope on the coach transfer with the dates of our pre booked trips in it-if any are not ok you can swap them (or add more) if available at the welcome meeting. Think carefully about th etime of time you want to do th eexcursions they run twice daily am and pm we had am slots for both and I liked this because it was light ish and you could film the ride and scenery etc but equally you might like to do it in the dark!!if so opt for pm

Yes sorry actually fairmeade is right.That year in 2006 we were also given the envelopes with times and days etc in.I do remember though that at the welcome meeting we also changed some of our safari to go in the mornig so that it was light for our safaris.

The prebooked guests really did get first choice of times and days.

Not sure how it worked this year as we did not go to the welcome meeting.

We got the times of the trips when we got our pack on the coach - had to que with everyone else to chang them as we were given pm slots and would have been dark - dont like queing with small kids so i wrote my mobile no down and asked our rep to call me so i could change the times and she did.

i think the super Husky is in the afternoon and the minis in the morning- it was on the day we went.

Thanks for the info. I don%26#39;t suppose either of you hired snow suits through Inghams - if so when do you get them?

No I did not lisa but think that you collect them when you arrive in the resort but cant be sure.

I%26#39;m here in lapland now, arrived yesterday..you check into your hotel or cabin first, then collect your suits. The suit hire place shuts at 9pm..so if you arrive then or later you will have to wait till the next day.

The rep on your coach will tell you all this.
