Yllas - Somewhere for 20s

Hey, a group of us are going to Yllas. We are 20something guys, some students. Although we choose Yllas over other resports because its peaceful, we wondered if there was anywhere at all, that someone might know that our age might find fun for a night or so. Yes aware there is hardly anything there,lol.

Olympus7,...Are students a different breed to all of the other 20 year olds ? lol, am suprised you have choosen Yllas,as it is very quiet. the only place which i can thik of is Jullis bar, unles all you 20 years olds can do the tango or fox trot, Then the Akas is the Place,it depends on when you are going and where you are staying, when the Gondola at Iso Yllas opens in Feb, there is evening entertainment planned for the bar there.. sam fox is booked to appear there !! when are you going ? ... have fun

Yes students need to be kept on a leash and watched at all times.

We are going on sunday, basically been a stressful 2007 for most and wanted a none Alpe%26#39;Huez type place for a change. However its nice to know it does at least have 1 pub/bar.

LOl... love your reply,Am sure you%26#39;ll a fantastic time and will most definatley relax, the bar area at the Akas is good too, like i mentioned before Julli%26#39;s is great, think they show english footie games, if thats your thing, but best bit is that their Burgers and pizzas are fantastic..

P.s you can always tie the students up with the reindeer

have fun

haha thanks, I will keep in mind your suggestion of tie them up with the reindeer or maybe tie them TOO the reindeer.

We are actually staying at hotel Akas, can%26#39;t actually remember what side of Yllas that is on...

|||

Its the Akaslompolo side.. other side of where the gondola is, not that it matters to but its not going to be open till around 8th Feb, week after we leave .. Typical lol, at least the chair lift is running and the lift which lets you get to the other side (Iso Yllas)is open so makes the ski area bigger... Enjoy the local beer called lapin Kultra its lovely .. oh yeah and ginger thin buscuits from the supermarke.

Is Yllas Ready for you young un%26#39;s ???

Have fun

We spotted a club in the basement of the hotel on the saturday night!

Most of the time its %26#39;dancing%26#39; in the main bar or quiet drinks in the foyer bar, then bingo they open the doors on the lower ground and a club magically appeared .. then magically filled with a load of lappish %26#39;young%26#39;uns%26#39;!

Other than that, loads of restaurants and places to eat and drink in walking distance to the hotel.. and the walk home is a pleasure too.

Have a ball!
