Snow Princess!!!

Well just back from the delightful Snow Princess!!!

I have read the reviews before I went and well all I can say is there really is NO pleasing some people!

1 Food was great - Fish was the best I have Had!

2 Hotel staff - Great and really friendly!

3 Accomidation- Basic, BUT you really only sleep there!

4 1st Choice staff- FAB!!!

5 Experience of Lapland - Above and beyond expectation levels!

If you are lucky enough to have booked this hotel then your in for a GREAT Time!!!

was good to meet you, but never got chance to say goodbye as we had such an early start from the hotel, glad you got back safe though, has Millie shut up about it yet, I bet your ex%26#39;s face was a picture......Took photos in this morning to be developed hope they are good ones...am hoping to post some later too off the digital!

I agree with your post fully. Have started looking at prices for next year for pallos or maybe Levi but not sure yet.

Hi Paul,we go on the 16th to Snow Princess, glad to read you review as I was getting worried.

I%26#39;m still waiting for First Choice to come back to me on a few questions, could you help!!

1. Are there Safes in the rooms, no mention of them in the brochure

2. Are there Tea/coffee facilities in room i.e do i need to take my own kettle

3. What are the smoking regulations in the hotel i am assuming they have the same regulations as UK

Can you smoke in your room?

Is there a smoking room in the hotel, or do you have to freeze outside

Any other relevant info about hotel would be appreciated

Hi there,

There is a kettle in the room with tea and coffee making facilities. There is no smoking in the hotel but there are seats outside for you to sit and have a fag.

Food was great and varied. Healthy food too. Had real chips for kids too as well as pizza and chicken nuggets.

Alcohol is not too over priced. The christmas themed coctails are fun.

There is no safe in the room.

First choice staff were all fantastic.

Did you wear your casual clothes to eat your evening meal/breakfast then back into thermal to play!!, guess it can get hot in the hotel in all the outdoor gear!

Did your package with 1st Choice include the clothing, if so do you collect it from the hotel?

How much was a beer/wine in the hotel? like the sound of the Christmas Cocktails ho ho ho

Debzz ...First Choice usually take you to a big warehouse to pick up your outside clothing...this works really well and takes no time at all!!

Hi all,

Bluny...our first visit to Lapland was Rovaniemi.

Preferred Yllas though as more snow and just more picturesque.

First choice were fantastic and yes we picked up all the snow gear which included balaclava%26#39;s, gloves, scarfs, boots and snowsuit on route to the hotel.

Its brilliant over there! I%26#39;m soooo missing it already! I want to go back next year but am a bit worried incase I take the magic away next time.

Its such a beautiful place and I%26#39;m sooooo glad I took her.

I gen. believe everything was perfect, food, rooms etc but don%26#39;t know if that was the Lapland effect rubbing off on me.

You wear your normal clothes when your in the hotel for those of you who are lucky enough to be going. Say hello to the reps in the kids club! ....,.They are great and brill with the kids.
