Just back from a weeks stay in Levi, where we celebrated New Year. It was our first stay in Lapland and what a magical place.
We stayed in the Immelmokit Cabins which were lovely and cosy. The sauna was an extra added bonus. No complaints what so ever.
We went on the ski-doo%26#39;s and to the Snow Village which was 45 mins away and cost 110 Euro%26#39;s, which was for the taxi there and back and for the taxi to wait for us for an hour. Once there it cost 5Euro%26#39;s per adult and 2Euro%26#39;s per child to look around.
As none of us are ski-iers we didn%26#39;t take in any of the slopes in Levi - we are going to be taking a few lessons at the new ChillFactor in Manchester ready for the next visit.
My son absolutely loved it and didn%26#39;t want to come home and neither did we.
The best holiday by far.....amazing.
Got to go.........checking prices for next New Year, lol.

We also got back from The Immelmokit Cabins Number 21 great week and lots of snow.
Our only problems were with the Ingham reps and the courtesy cabin number 22 and at one point was housing about 40 in a cabin designed for 8 and certain reps being downright rude to customers.

We had a great time too and loved immemelmokit and lapland in general. Our cabin was cabin 22 the courtesy cabin! it was a weird feeling returining to cabin to find it jam packed with all those 100s!.Is anyone bothering to complain formally to inghams?

Glad you had a fab time, we go back out there in 7 weeks time, 4th visit to Levi in 4 years its addictive!! as for complaining.. don%26#39;t bother wasting your time! last visit we had appauling service and after many errors and poor support I complained in writing when we returned. They did admit liabilty but it was a painful and drawn out process. We have seen many Inghams reps in that resort and only a handful have ever been superb. Such a shame in a magical place! Who is the rep for the K5 and immelmokit this year?

We had a rep called nathan this year as he was standing in as the rep for the Immelmokits had walked out after her first week and left them in the lurch.
He was also the rep for the levilto chalets and was struggling with all the accomdations.He was very sweet and helpfull even though he was very dim and did not give us any info about xmas party and return times etc home.
One of the famale reps and I cannot remember her name but took us back for our return journey home was
not so good and really did have a cant be bothered attitude.
We have before this year always found the reps great!

The most I can say about the Ingham reps is that they have a could not care less attitude. and Yes it was Nathan and Andy who repped up in the cabins, although they promised to sort out the problems they never did, in fact they left us in the lurch. My wife broke her shoulder on the Snowmobile safari after a accident, we spoke to the reps to see if we could have a empty seat at the side of her to lessen any chance of her being knocked on the journey home, they said they would sort it out. In the meantime we also spoke to the insurance company who said they make sure that this would happen if the reps could not sort it. But after many promises that the reps were on top of what was happening and would have it sorted. But when it came to the flight they had done nothing which then left it too late for us to contact the insurance company. And instead of trying to sort it out they disapeared to coffee bar to just chat. We also spoke to the reps manager in Levi, Suzy I believe was her name and she was even worse with a terrible customer attitude with not one bit of concern.
We would love to go back to Levi but it would certainly not be with Inghams and especially if it was the same people that posed as reps.

Hope your wife is feeling okay we were in the snow mobile after yours and saw the upturned snow mobile that looked v scary. The reps should have done much more or at least let the insurance take over. I broke my ankle (in Majorca) a few years ago and needed an op. the insurance took over private hospital, helped hubby back at resort ,early flight home, they flew a nurse out to pick me up at the hospital, she took over our entire needs, taxi to airport, buggy through airport, took our passports and sorted the kids. I had three seats on the flight she saw to my medical needs during the flight then private ambulance transfer home from the airport! We were very impressed to say the least.
Sorry you were badly treated those reps were not on the ball.

Katet - we were in Cabin 9 next to yours, we probably looked (and sounded) like the Clampets, lol!
The rep we had was called Nathan, I thought he was ok, although we only saw him once which was when he came looking for us to fill out a questionnaire. I did have a moan about there not being enough info on the whereabouts of where the reps where like normal holiday resorts,as we needed to see him over something and couldn%26#39;t find out where the reps where based, apart from that he was ok.
As soon as I arrived home early this morning, I had a new Inghams brochure on my doorstep which must have been posted out last week, talk about giving us chance to get home ;0)
Anybody else booking for New Year again?

I took my wife to our local hospital this morning, who diagnosed that she had four fractures in her shoulder and were keeping her in hospital to operate on her Wednesday by inserting plates in shoulder and a pin down her arm. The operators of the Snowmobile safari showed more concern than the Ingham reps and arranged the taxis up to Rovanema for the x-rays, as Kittila health centre did not have a x-ray machine. although we did have to pay out of our own pocket the 218 euros for the return leg back to Levi.
So a warning to all who may be unfortunate to have a accident whilst in resort keep the telephone number of the insurance company on hand as the Ingham reps will be of no help. They might as well be called %26quot;sales reps%26quot; just for trips.
