Hummm...Inghams have taken money from my bank ......

they have taken £138 from my bank on the 19th Dec (we went on hols on the 23rd dec), have no idea what this is for as I had paid them in full back in October, anyone else got this or know what it may be for?





I have emailed them but their after care does leave something to be desired

Be prepared to wait!Thats all I can say.I waited for around 8 weeks to get a refund of £30 from them.



They were alot quicker at taking money of me!

if they have taken money from me illigally then I will get them that%26#39;s for sure

Ohhh I have no doubts you will!!!I would hate to be the person on the other end of the phone when you call them!!

poe ... have checked our bank and we have had nothing untowards. You did%26#39;nt prebook any excursions or anything or add anything else on like skis, boots etc at the last minute.

Travel insurance, excursions, last minute ski hire, change of airport

nope, none of that, we had paid the full amount for the holiday in october, we had already booked the ski school and other trips with them ages ago and they were on the invoice, there was nothing outstanding as far as I am concerned - I will be calling them first thing in the morning - it just goes to show how important it is to check back statements, it%26#39;s something that I never do but I will be doing from now on

and £170 from my visa!!!!! on the 6th Dec





what the hell is going on - I booked all my trips when I booked the holiday, I paid the deposit when I booked and paid the balance in full in october - I had not ordered anything else from them





Now they are in big trouble

I would also get on to your bank - they may be able to advise you more quickly.



When we were the last week we had to leave credit card details at accomodation - perhaps they have charged you for something with the appt - you didn%26#39;t trash the place did you!!



Worth remembering to check out for - that whole system could really be abused - we signed and completed without too much thought ( I was a bit reticent - but they said we had too - I think next time I would be inclined to let the reps chase me for the form - let them do something for once!) however what%26#39;s to stop them charging an horrendous amount to the card and saying that you damaged something?

I would ring your visa company, they have a responsibility if money is taken from you without you knowing.You get quite alot of protection paying by visa card.

just spoken to the admin dept at inghams (who were very, very good) and she could see the transactions but they were for a different booking ref which was under a different name - they are going to get back to me about it tomorrow as the manager is out





I am relaxed about it now and I am sure it will be sorted out, however if it%26#39;s not ......
