January in Yllas

Calling all you lapland Experts!!

We are getting close to booking our trip and will be getting married out there too.

I know that there is less daylight, etc in January but from those who have been at that time I take it there is still plenty of daylight to go skiing, activities, etc?

Also, do you think it is a %26quot;good time%26quot; of year to be getting married. I really want the winter wonderland wedding and am getting quitre excited (spurred on by you lot and your experiences!) but at the same time a little worried, as I%26#39;ve never been before and organising something like a wedding is not something i%26#39;m used to ;-)

Any tips or have you seen other people getting married? thanks, Yvonne

Ive heard of lots of poeple getting married there. It really appeals to me but my other half isnt too keen!

Ive heard of lots of people getting married in the snowdome. (not sure where abouts that is tho! )

January is definately a good time to go regarding the snow. and im sure it would be a perfect winter wonderland wedding.

Yes there is engough day light to do skiiing etc its starts getting dark by about 4ish i think! but all the runs are floodlit and the cross contry skiing tracks are all have lights which go out about 10ish in yllas.

We saw a bride in a sleigh on her way to get married when we were out there.... Fantastic.. covered in reindeer fur .... Princess S-21 we%26#39;ll work on your other half, so you can have your Winter wedding lol

i think it would be so romantic, and wonderfull. I not seen any pictures of people getting married there, but it allways sounds so lovely.

I think we land at about 6ish!! out flight leaves Gatwick at 12.45ish i think! not sure exactly!

well get the kettle on then ...lol we leave manchester @ 1.20 ..and we%26#39;ll expect buscuits too !!!
