Kidsland creche..anyone ever used it?

Hi

This is the first year we go skiing with a little one! I want to have a bit of %26quot;adult time!%26quot; and I plan to place my daughter in the kidsland creche for a few hours a day as unlike most of Austria and France, they take kids from 3mths in Finland . She will be 15 months old when we go in march. Has anyone used the creche? are they english speaking carers? The website says 10 euros and hour was this the case? do they feed them lunch or tea? sorry for all the questions! any help would be great!!!

Thanks

I used it one for about 45mins - felt guilty about putting my little boy in there pathetic i know. It was 8Euros per hour they spoke good English and lots of colourings to do dvd%26#39;s toys - must admit i dint like the way anyone could walk in off kidsland - no secutity doors or buzzers. He seemed ok in there but cant say for sure as he hates leaving me at the best of times. I saw people taking in packed lunches so i dont think they provide food for you.

We were going to leave my little boy in there but he started crying so we did%26#39;nt in the end the price depends on how the child is think it%26#39;s a little bit more the younger they are, the children we saw all looked happy enough

Shell %26amp; Kelly... thanks!

My girl is full time nursery at the moment so she loves her playtime! I guess it would be strange, different carers etc....sorry to be a pain but was it busy, were their many under 2 yrs?...

surprised about the lack of security....put me off a bit!

Thanks

We never used the creche in kids land but looked around it this year.

It was very quiet in there when we went in also the staff seemed lovely.

We did just walk in and no one said anything to us or even asked us our name but then as soon as we went in we just said that we wanted a look about.

There was a seperate area for children to take a sleep and aslo i thought it was more like a mini home with sofas and a play area in there.

Im sure if your little one is at nursery now he/she will be fine in there.

I would use it if my children were younger and happy to be left.

We became friendly with a couple who used it every day and were over the moon with the quality of care, their little lad loved it there.

Cath - when we went there was only 1 other child - he was under 2 and looked to be settled. You could always try it the once and then make a decision about the other days. Im sure she will be fine - im one of those over protective loony mums that dont like other people looking after my children.

I find it rather sad that one should feel the need for such measures :(

I actually though there was a locking system on the door but if there was then they were not using it.

Cannot be sure though.

I called in to drop in a mobile phone I found in the sledding area and the lady was singing to a baby and all the other kids were listening to her - It was lovely and cosy!! I was thinking of putting in my four year old on the day we were doing a ski lesson but we decided to let him do the lesson with us - but I would have had no hesitation in leaving my child there!

Thanks to all of you for your comments and advice so far. Its a fine line between wanting to keep some nursery routine with my girl and us wanting to have her with us, but I know me and the other half will get a few hours of quality time and ski time together. I think I%26#39;ll see how she goes.

Thanks again everyone..

Cath
