as long as the bag does not exceed teh bag size adn they are not over the wieght limit there should not be a problem, my mate takes hers out in a small wheeled suitcase, they fit in their perfectly and the bag is permited on as carry on, you just need to watch the wieght, however, if you have children, get them to pull it along and get a child like bag and they will never ask to weigh it, we get our kids to carry out all our heavy stuff ;-)

When we went in december some check in clerks were wighing and measuring the size of hand luggage - so we put ours in the hold we hadnt accounted for this in our baggage allowance - we were a total of 10kg over and they let us off with it as some bags were 17kg and dont think he could be bothered adding up all the weights,

Hand luggage is 5kg - dont know what the size is though - they have little models at the airport to measure your bag against.

Some airlines allow 10kg - check your ticket - or if you are flying Monarch - check their website. you could always put 1 in your case!
