quick thought for goggles have a look in lile/aldis

|||

And I bet you only use a third of it!

All we wore was underwear, thermals, boots, hats %26amp; gloves and our suits, could have saved myself a lot of packing

|||

nope, it%26#39;s not the record... we went out with 5 bags wieighing a total of 60kg between 4 of us and 1 carry on weighing 5kg - this was all the snow geat, including helmets etc, all teh childrens xmas presents and a £30 ham ;-)

coming back we had 3 bags, with a total weight of 47kg and the 5kg carry on (the nintendo wii)

next time I reckon we could do it for 30kg for all 4 of us.....

poe

did you take a cool bag and book it in with other cases (for the ham)....are they ok with you taking a bit of stuff with you

thanks

can i second the question about the ham? were any questions asked about it?

|||

I put the ham (which was vacuum packed) in with the clothes in the suitcase, it was not in a cool bag as the hold is cold and it was only really out of the fridge./cold are for a short time

as for taking it over, there is no restrictions in taking cooked meat out with you for you own consumption, you could take it on as carry on if you preferred

I even got my box of 12 christmas crackers through ;-)
