Ski Flights dot com

Has anyone used or made enquiries with the above company. I am currently looking to book for Dec2008 and was planning to book the accomodation and flights as it should work out at least £400 cheaper.

They appear to still have flights left for Dec 2007 as do Inghams for that matter for only £99.

Would be interested to hear you experiences.

Hi Simon,

We%26#39;ve used skiflights.com for our flights this year, great to deal with and nothing seemed a problem. Fly out tomorrow so will soon find out !

Grechster - I have booked with them for the 30th Dec 07 and the tickets arrived this week. It is the same flights as the Inghams ones except cheaper. Several others on the forums are also going with them. The carrier is Monarch according to ticket.

They are easy to deal with in terms of bookings and someone called andrew in the office was helpful. We got whole deal with 2 bed cabin and flights for four for 1900 for one week in new year week this year.

Hope this helps.

May I ask how much much you paid for you flights and also when exactly you booked them?

Thanks for your help.

£259 from Gatwick to Kittila each, booked in October for 30th Dec and return 6th Jan- tickets have Inghams printed all over and Inghams rep is contact in airport. All booked via ski-flights.com

I think your right about them having flights left and they will get cheaper nearer the time but too risky once you have booked accomodation.

Will post on return as to experiences.

Hi, i made enquiries with them for next year - i was going to book independant , they said we couldnt book a flight with them unitl at least October - the man said they only get the flights that are not filled by the main tour operatours - so if the tour companies fill them all there will not be any cheap flights to book - too much of a gamble for me, I was not prepared to book and pay for a cabin only to find out i couldnt get a flight.

Booked my tickets in June, then changed airports and re-booked in November. Paid £250 in June for flights from Manchester then got a refund and paid £109 for flights from Birmingham.

Just got back on Sunday....wow what a fab plave Levi is!!!

Kennelman,

So you got a full £250 refund and then paid only £109? If so that is a bargain.

I have just booked my cabin. I think that the risk of not getting a flight is small (let home I am not proved wrong!).

Right until departure date of the 9th Dec this year there were flights from Gatwick on offer.

Worst case scenario is that I lose my deposit on the Cabin (Eur160) and have to book for 2009. Best case I get the accomodation and flights for around £800. That%26#39;s for 4 of us and compares to the brochure price of almost £1700!!

Be intersted to hear other peoples experiences.

Regards

Hi, if you book seperatly and the plane is cancelled because of bad weather or something what happens, do they put you on the next flight?

Who have you booked your cabins with? I am considering booking myself at those prices!

It is a charter then I think you%26#39;ve probably had it. I booked with the Immelmokit cabins which have been discussed widely on these fourums.

You can you get their contact details from the Levi website.

I priced up a package for a family of 4 for the xmas week, and it was coming in at something ridulous £3000+. Though it did include excursions, snowsuits, etc not sure if these were tasters or full ones. I tried to get a direct flight from Manchester to Kittila, but there was no option other than booking a flight with Finnair to Helsinki and then onto Kittila. We have an hour to change terminals at Helsinki and so of course the transfer will be an hour longer than direct. I was concerned about missing the next flight, but as we have booked it all on one ticket, it is the airlines responsibility to get you to your final destination. Dont know if this involves delaying the following flight, night in hotel etc (really hope I dont have to find out). I booked these flights in June and for a family of 4 it cost £1324.00. I have booked a cabin direct. It has one bedroom, 2 beds on a mezzanine level, and the sofa converts to a bed also. The cost is 654 euros for 5 nights/6 days, and it was only an extra 20 euros for the week.Ive booked all excursions direct, and after our experience this year, we will see if it does work out better or not. We started booking holidays independently a few years ago and have not had a bad experience yet. We enjoy the flexibility and independence it gives and also you generally avoid lots of queueing etc
